If I could figure out the first doggone thing about how to run a server, and had the $$$s for the equipment to do it, and could figure out how to get the thing online, I'd start a music forum.
Most saw me as the Linux fanboi type. Nope. For me, it's music first (before anything/everything), and Linux second. I just choose Linux because my music sounds (and can be edited) so much better on it. The rest be damned.
Wish I knew how to do this.

Well actually that is a healthy approach. The OS is FOR something - it is supposed to DO something. It is the means not the target. Of course dealing with copyrights and licenses is an entirely different matter. That is where you would have the real challenge.
