Links clicked in Thunderbird do not open in Firefox

Postby viking60 » 28 Jul 2010, 12:24

Lately I can click all the links I want to in Thunderbird -nothing happens! Caramba! that is annoying. I fixed it like this:
1. go to >System>preferences>preferred applications>
under browser I have Firefox selected and mail reader is Thunderbird (nothing in the custom)

Dunno what happened there though.

Um, I'm confused. So it's working, or not?

Sorry - It is working now.
But after all this time it should not be necessary to alter the settings. It just stopped working. And editing the settings like described above fixed it..

Interesting. The reason I wondered was if this should go to Tips 'n Tricks.

It could. There is a problem and a solution. But I don't know how common the problem is.

Let's find out. I'm gonna tweet this baby.

Also post a poll.

Brilliant.

I forgot to mention: This problem occurred in Mandriva.
