Well, this is about a hardware software but it's still a useful program, so I'll put it here.
I caught wind of this, somehow, during google searching about drive information. It seems very capable for that, showing serial number and firmware version, a couple of things that interest me from time to time, and appears to have a lot of advanced capability, most of which I haven't dipped into.
You might notice the Benchmark buttons, another topic that's been on my mind, what with my new (old tech, sata II) ssd. From what I have read, the write benchmark will only work on an empty disk. The read mark shows very good performance for my ssd, especially seek time, but I'm a bit unconvinced as the hdparm -tT benchmark is lower.
