Can't remember this particular software?

It's the equivalent of Microsoft's Silverlight... I remember Mandriva had (has?) it, a plugin.. MoonSomething... or SomethingMoon... :?:

I'd like to see if Arch has it, is why I'm asking.

Thanks.

It still is controlled by Microsoft though, via Novell. This is what I found in aur:

Code: Select all

:) yaourt moonlight
1 aur/geutheme-midnight-moonlight 20100106-1 (3)
Default OpenGEU Moonlight theme for Quarto di Luna
2 aur/moonlight3d 0.2.3-1 (35)
Modern, flexible and extensible modelling and animation tool
3 aur/silverlight-media-pack

Yeah, got it. Jim, you were right. Thanks so much.

I need it for something... controlled by M$ or not. Thanks to both of you.

Edit: Problem is... does it require mono? If so, I really won't install it. Can't stand mono.

Yes it is a mono project. So you will be needing mono I guess. Do you don't need it now? :D

It's a conundrum. I've done a heckuva lot of fighting against mono in the past. I think it's the most evil thing about Linux.

However, hotmail is now requiring Silverlight...

Uuuuggghh. :wall: :mandriva:

I need extreme coffee before I can make a decision on this. :coffee_cup:

As requested your mail account is now ready check PM. We don't want to become dependent of mono :hand:

Yeah for sure.

I blew it off in the end - haven't felt like screwing with it anyway. My hotmail's a mess from all kinds of things (almost 700 emails [that are not spam even!) - thought I'd straighten it out, but think now I'll just abandon it. It's too much of a hassle.
