ImageThe codename is Honeycomb. So you want to install this on your phone? No can do! This is the Software Development Kit. Interfaces to other and bigger platforms are made easier but it will still be compatible with older software. Honeycomb has support for external keyboard via USB or Bluetooth. Might be something for a system admin that.
And there are some new connectivity options:
Android 3.0 includes new connectivity features that add versatility and convenience for users. Built-in support for Media/Picture Transfer Protocol lets users instantly sync media files with a USB-connected camera or desktop computer, without needing to mount a USB mass-storage device. Users can also connect full keyboards over either USB or Bluetooth, for a familiar text-input environment. For improved wi-fi connectivity, a new combo scan reduces scan times across bands and filters. New support for Bluetooth tethering means that more types of devices can share the network connection of an Android-powered device.

Sorry, I'm no longer for google anything, other than as a search engine.

Why did Google ask for kids' Social Security numbers?

Next stop, they'll be asking for everyone's national i.d. number. On the Android, too.

Have not learned your lesson? You never place your real Birth Day and Place. I never do on anything, even on GMail. I place Bogus Zip Codes and Cities with Fake Addresses. Anyway, if they want your info badly they can get it on many different ways, PayPal, Amazon, Wal Mart perhaps...?

That pisses me off!! As soon as the politicians are elected they start the process of controling the people. By spying on your whereabouts (Cell phone) or controling the social media.
It should be the other way arround!!!!

Exactly my friend a direct violation of Freedom of Assembly on the excuse of National Security.

Now I am thinking also....

With the Free Phone means also that you will have the means to Squeal on your Neighbor, been tag as terrorist and troublemaker. Even if is a Lie or just by exercising your right to speak.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the 4th amendment

This is a first for me. I thought we had a right to privacy built into the constitution, but I guess not.

No worries. The Constitution itself is not actual law of the land. I've come to find out recently that to consider it so is a fallacy - it was never enacted into law.

How's that for getting one's bubble burst? Everybody all together now, 1, 2, 3 - FU USA!

Yes, our founding fathers signed it. They just forgot one little detail it seems.
