Windows 8 introduces smart search with adds

 | Windows 8 will introduce smart search that can search locally and the internet at the same time - like Gnome 3 has had for some time. Local files Wikipedia and the Bing search engine will give the results. Unlike Gnome 3; Microsoft will monetize this feature through Bing adds. Paying customers for adds on Bing and Yahoo will be eligible to be shown without additional setup. There is no information regarding if you will be able to turn off the adds. |
