Microsoft launches "Surface Book"

Microsoft's has launched it's first laptoptab. It is called the Surface Book. It will be available on Oct 26 for $1499.-

13,5 PixelSense-display
Backlight removable keyboard
12 h battery
NVIDIA-graphics
GDDR5-mem
Core i7.

This should make this one way more powerful than any Macbook (But Windows just might need it so it does not necessarily mean better performance).



Looks good and can also be used as a tablet. Knowing MS and their newfound love for Linux; a dual boot with Linux should be no problem either.....

It looks like this one is set out to compete with both MacBook and iPad. In general it always seemed like a good idea to make a laptop both tab and lap by simply having a removable keyboard.
Winning over Apple's loyal fans is a tall order ...Interesting times..

Not new, have you seen Asus Transformer? Is powered by Linux; pretty cool toy I must say.

Yes Asus transformer looks pretty much like this one. But it is new from Microsoft :-D
