Fedora 13, code-named "Goddard", will be out in 26 days!

And yeah, I probably will have to wait. :( Gotta start working two jobs until my contract is up with the State, so probably won't have much time to do much with this thing during that time.

I hope upon hope that it will support reiserfs or even reiser4, but somehow I'm doubting it.

Just a heads up for ya that it's on the way!

Yupp It is the most important Linux distro together with Debian. I still am not very comfortable with it though. I have the impression that if something works, they replace it with something else.

Haven't run into that specifically yet with it myself. Interesting.

Just asked Dave Jones of Red Hat/Fedora about the reiserfs situation from my twitter (I love his blog at http://www.codemonkey.org.uk/landing.html btw), and he gave me a link to try, although he's not super sure that it's still there, http://www.j.mp/964eGK .

According to that link:
In the boot prompt from the install, you can use "linux reiserfs" (graphic) or "text reiserfs" to add support for reiserfs in the instalation.

When I go to the previous(?) message in that thread:
Start the install with: "linux reiserfs" to be able to make reiserfs
file systems from disk druid. "jfs" is supported as well.

According to Dave Jones, the kernel still supports it as well.

I've debated on going BTRFS as well,,, he states this of it, via twitter:
has more of a future. people actually hacking on it etc. still kinda shaky. boot param= 'icantbelieveitsnotbtr' :-)

lol.
