Strange, this.

Postby dedanna1029 » 24 Feb 2013, 18:20

Can anyone think of any reason at all why, on the netbook, ALL of the file managers would be crashing on load; Dolphin, Nautilus, PCMan, etc., whether in Gnome or KDE on the netbook (NB255), Mageia 2 fully updated, and a fairly new installation?

Thanks.

Sounds like you have memory trouble - If I should make a wild guess :confused
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Could be. I ended up turning off plasma-netbook, and going straight desktop in KDE - that seems to have helped KDE. Just need to check Gnome now.
