Limewire is a peer-to-peer, bitorrent downloading software, not a player, and not distributed by Mandriva, afaik.
If you are able to get your music with this p2p software, you will need to open a player. Look in the applications menu, under Sound and Video for a player. I like mplayer or one of its derivatives, esp. smplayer, and there is totem, kaffeine, clementine, vlc... There are many choices.

Re: linux mandriva
There is a player in Limewire, however Limewire is not recommended to use at this time due to a copyright suit. It is proprietary and closed-source & has been since the courts shut them down. http://www.limewire.com/ - I've mentioned here at the forum before that Frostwire is better to use. However they are now going through their own changes. This is what happens when these things are used for too much illegal downloading. With that having been said, try starting limewire from terminal & try to play a file from it. That should give a clue as to what the problem could be. We need more info before we can say. Thanks.
I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.
