Kopete won't connect

... to anything, no matter what client I'm using.
Wondering if anyone else is running into this, or if it might be a bug from updates? It's been all of a sudden consistently not connecting for some month now.

Could be a port issue.
What are you trying to connect to?
AIM, Messenger, etc...

MSN Messenger, Google Talk (two different accounts), Jabber, Yahoo, you name it pretty much. Each has its own function for me.

I am on a network at work that is pretty anal.
None of those service would work; the routers has specific instructions on what ports to forward packets.
