Firefox 3.6.8 not showing animated gifs correctly

I have this problem in Mandriva. The animated gifs are blinking here in this forum. It is annoying and it is no problem in Iron Opera or Seamonkey.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Edit:
I guess there is a general problem:

https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=60738

And it is fixed it firefox-4.0-0.b3.1 :?: :arrogant:
Where do I get that? Any way I am going to rate that browser as crap until it is packed and working with the distro.

I get the same thing these days. I think it's a distro thing, not a FF thing, because I get it in each distro I run, in anything FF 3.6.7-->. Been thinking FF was crap for quite a while now anyway. I wonder if everyone who might be packaging it for their distro is packaging it wrong maybe? Making the same mistake? Could happen. I don't see it fixed in the beta, btw.

I am confused I have FF on Mandriva and Arch and not had the problem. But some updates lately in both Distros broke the animated gifs. Sure looks like a FF bug to me.
(Well - no other browser has the problem)
