CrystalDiskInfo

Information is skimpy at best, but at the link above, it states:

Code: Select all

is a HDD/SSD utility software which supports S.M.A.R.T and a part of USB-HDD

Interesting thing about this. @FOSSwiki on Twitter is the one who posted about it, saying this:
@FOSSwiki wrote:????(Up): Amazing - CrystalDiskInfo http://bit.ly/7tgpvN #opensource #sfjp http://bit.ly/dgZeVl

What I'm wondering, is how it can be Open Source, when it's clearly for Windows only, according to the Crystal Dew World site? Would it be in the same manner as other Open Source packages for Windows are, such as OpenOffice.org, or ?

Thanks.

So it posted, even though I got the error? Boss, I'm going to leave both posts up - can you check this out please? I've merged the two into one thread, for easier access. Thanks.

That part was the offending one (replaced by ???? here). Why was it there? Looks like twitter code. That chinese looking code has a function that is not allowed - Still investigating
Ok I think it has to do with the PHP version on the server. Will try to replace it - Let us hope without downtime..... These migration things always make me nervous.

I think so!
I would be skeptical about that one though; to many Chinese letters - and to little information. The twitter name even causes a crash in mysql - it could be a coincidence - it does not have to be.

Edit:
Looks like your code has killed pastebin - It is down :lol: So I cannot test if it can be pasted now

:lol:

It's back up now (pastebin).

What I don't get about all that, is how did it post anyway, even with the error I got? I didn't even realize it posted until after I'd done the second one - there was no info in the error itself as to whether the post actually went through or not, so I assumed it didn't, and posted the second one instead. Then, saw that indeed, the first one had gone through.

The chinese letters btw, that's in the person's name that gave me the link; I'm not 100% on that though.

The error came from Mysql. The PHP of the board did post it. It can happen but the database sure was not happy about it. The database does not speak Chinese (latin-swedish)
