Percentage of disposable income that is consumer spending?

Postby dedanna1029 » 08 May 2012, 23:30

I've run searches, and can't the percentage of disposable income that is consumer spending in the U.S., either that, or the states that I'm finding are different for each source.

Anyone know where I can find the latest stat on this? It's for my economics class.

Thanks.

The finished statistics are always somewhat old before they are presented. Do you have an official statistics institution? That would be the place to go.

Wow. That's a lot of stats! I see the changes, but am wondering what I'm comparing to, in order to get the absolute.

You should download the xls tables that are behind the links on the right and take a good look at table 10 in the spreadsheet.
