Inet connection issues again!

Called Qwest Communications again tonight, 'cause my inet connection has been playing up again for the last month or so. Got much worse yesterday, when we had some really high winds.
They say they think my modem's going out (it's only just over a year old), but I think it's them. These are really ancient lines they do their ADSL on (and they have total morons who work on these things on top of it), and I've had line issues before; in fact, since they didn't fix them last time, I got a huge discount on my service for 6 months. I'm on the last of those 6 months now, and it chooses now to screw all up again.
I bet I go out there and find that it has nothing to do with a damn modem... AGAIN.
It's so frustrating. Even if it were the modem, it's not worth buying another one; I won't be here any more than 2 more months (thank the source).
Sorry, just needed to vent about a piss-poor provider. If they weren't all there is here, I'd be long gone from them, but the whole one other there is in this hellhole is worse!
