Top News: Earthquake hits Pacific Coast and Baja California

Further north, the Baja California earthquake was followed by a 4.1 quake in Santa Rosa, just north of San Francisco, California.

So, Santa Rosa is about 30 miles northwest of here. 4.1 Richter doesn't travel very far; I didn't even feel that. There was about a 4 in the Berkeley hills, one time, when I was standing in the second story of a wood frame house down on the flatlands, a couple of miles away. I felt that! It sounded like a truck hit the building and it swayed a little. My friend leaped through the air into a doorway and it was over. No visible damage, not a very big shake....

Yeah, been wondering. Knew you were okay, but wasn't sure if I should delete my post above or not. Was so glad to see you okay; was hoping for an email soon after the quake, didn't hear from you that night or the next day, so started worrying until an email did come in.

Glad all's well, and that the quake wasn't bad your way.
