Is all Linux based and UNIX so you will get kicks about the GNOME and KDE talks plus all the command line stuff.

Is funny though, saw the main character typing some astu command here is what I got with a Google search "ASTU"

Well, some stuff is movie based BS as usual but the point is, they talk about Linux and is great for good exposure and PR for the Open Source community.

Well, I am not pleased to inform you that my laptop and my external drive have been stolen, and I'm back in the shelter so it's not possible for me to watch.

I'm not going to talk about it any more, it's way too upsetting, except to say that the person who did it is now in jail on three counts of "obtaining under false pretenses. If I can think of $10 more that they stole, I'll serve them with a felony.

Update:: They estimated what was stolen to be $1300 almost, and it still remained a misdemeanor, I can't remember why. The person who did it was given jail time; he pled guilty to each count. (Here's "justice" for you.) The judge suspended the jail time, and the person was ordered to pay restitution over four months and was placed on probation.

Here's the kicker: It turned out this person was already on probation in California for grand larceny, and had skipped it and landed here. There was an NCIS hit on him for it.

California may well still catch up to these charges here in Wyoming, and he could be extradited to there.

I tried hard to get the judge to see what could happen; the sub-human could either skip probation or be extradited, and I tried to get him not to suspend the jail time.

The judge's response? "Yeah, but I told him what would happen if he breaks the law in any way." Asshole. I'm sorry judge but HE ALREADY DID.

With all that surveillance supposedly to catch criminals - and does it work? No!

Of course not. The criminals get the goods, because everyone in government is a criminal too, so they suck the criminals up and leave the rest of us with nothing.
