Linux the washing powder!

Postby viking60 » 07 Sep 2016, 11:15

The Linux trademark was registered by a Swiss guy - years after Linux was a well known OS - for a washing powder!

He is the direct reason that Linus Torvalds fought the registration and got the linux trademark, but he had to give the swiss company a sublicense.

That cheeky guy even tried to make everybody pay licence fees to him for the OS! :berserk2

So there is a washing powder in Switzerland called Linux!

Must be effective against viruses that one...

You can buy it here

Actually "Linux Ultra Active" would make a good name for a distro :-D
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.
