I've been involved in the Twittermarch for the unemployed here in the states. Day before yesterday, I was here:

The thing that worries me, is "Engagement" came way way down... :(

As of today, I can say I'm fairly broken-hearted. Congress passed extension of unemployment for everyone last week. Today, Senate only passed for people who are still on unemployment through Tier IV. Nothing for the 99ers, nothing for anyone on #Twittermarch, which leaves some anywhere from 2.5M to 6M people with nothing but the streets at this time, as there was nothing that I could see that would be fruitful in creating that many jobs here in the states for the 99ers who have completely exhausted. Right now, for every 5-6 people needing work, there is only one job. AFAIK, there was nothing put in place for these people. The GOP gave all of them the big FU. :(

Also, my unemployment, it looks like, was turned down.

FWIW, here are my current stats, due mostly in part, to the fight for #Twittermarch, for Tier V for unemployment. Fat lot of good it did. I just thank god there was a very good man who was there for me today as I fell apart, who has given me the strength to want to see tomorrow.

I have never felt so much hatred for conservatives and the GOP as I do now. It almost makes me hate the U.S. for all the low-level thinking we have here. They are supposed to keep unemployment in place for all on it when the unemployment rate is 7.2 or above nationally. The national median right now is 9.5%; however the reality is up to almost 22%.

When Congress passed it last week, I stupidly got my hopes up for the Senate. I never will again. Ever.
