Suppose we are both in the same place at midnight - one of us goes east and the other west - so one into Saturday and the other into Sunday - we travel super fast and meet where it is midday.
What day is it?

It's Sunday today. Always glad to be of assistance
Now lemme solve the riddle...
Now the travel would be 12 hour time difference. Starting at 0 (GMT) we would meet in New Zealand(ish) on Saturday. Norwegian seafolks often cross the "date line" and get two Saturdays in a row.

Don't know the resolution to this, but I'll never forget my grandfather when he was in the Navy... talking about when he crossed the International Date Line... he spoke of that often.
I miss that man. His stories were phenomenal sometimes of his times in the service.

amusing as it sounds this is a form of time travel but you can only go one day in the future or the past
