Autosave to keep your post when logged off

Automatic logoff after a period of time is a security feature but I have had several complaints that contributions here after several hours of writing - simply have disappeared because the contributor was logged off during writing.

I has happened to me too :berserk2

So the world was deprived of the Perls I was trying to throw...because when logging back in the post is gone :berserkf
I have advised people who write long posts to copy the text so they can paste it back in this case - and of course they never remember it - I don't

To secure that these well thought of posts can be finished - I have installed Autosave which is supposed to auto-save those posts until finished.

I have not been able to test it yet but if you ever loose a post again - let me know (it should not happen anymore)!

That is what I do, as temp backup, copy the entire post, you never know. The Clipboard is your friend, specialy on Mobile Devices ;)

It looks like Autosave is working and a small side effect is that your last post will be saved in the text field so you have too remove it before you start writing your next post.
Just don't press submit or you will double post.
If it becomes a problem lemme know and I'll remove it.....

Removed it! Double posts were annoying.
