He's b-a-a-a-a-c-k!
Trying to figure out how the h-e-double hockey sticks I did this so I can install VirtualBox w/XP on GF's computer so her nephew can interface with his iPod on iTunes that the bastards don't make for Linux.
I see I need the CD, so I will take that and see if I can do it. Are we sure about activating XP? Will this work on a totally different machine at the same time I have XP on this machine? Got a bad feeling about this..

Re: Virtualbox ose impressions and floppy problem
It will work if you have not done it too often before (4 or 5 times). If it does not work you must call MS and they will fix it, so you can activate. It really is not allowed to deny you to transfer your Windows copy to a new PC...
I call them and if I meet resistance I tell them abut all those useless Windows licenses I own since version 3.11 and that they can only take one of a zillion Windows licenses I still own etc.
But they won't make any trouble in my experience (at least they do not want t challenge my grumpyness
).
On two machines has always been working when I use Bart PE with the same license as my running XP. That is not strictly allowed but it works.
