Negative MS marketing turned around

Postby viking60 » 10 Dec 2012, 20:39

Microsoft are pretty desperate these days and started a bully marketing stunt on Twitter where they were willing to handsomely reward the greatest Android fiasco stories...
Now this is where they seriously miscalculated the market.
The Android market is huge and the Windows phone market is somewhere between insignificant and non existent.
So it backfired .... BIGTIME.

Instead of Android horror stories they got messages like this:

I hate it whenn I click and click and nothing happens.....No wait that is on my Surface, not my Android. Can I still win?

And
My tablet must have been infected by malware because I only got 16GB when I bought 32GB. No wait ! Surface again.....

Yes and not very elegant. It is always a bad sign when a company needs to drag others through the dirt rather than promoting their own strengths.
It often means that they don't have them....

I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.

They are making pacts with the devil and we all know what is going to happen.
