In my house, it's mandatory to have music running as close to 100% of the time as is possible (and with it being just me, it is possible 100% of the time; it's generally how I do here). For instance, I have Ok Go's "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky" album going right now.
How about you? Is it this way in your home, or is music more balanced?

That's great! I live in an apartment complex, and a very well insulated one at that. The only time my music bothers anyone is when I have it going in my second bedroom, and that's because that room is right up against the apartment's next to me. So, I don't listen in there any more. Moved it all into the living room, which is just about the middle part of my apartment, so it bothers no one any more.
