This might be true in the Winuts world, but not in Linux. I remember some Alpha version some time ago that was extremely fast.
This simply is not, as far as I can tell.
It is not bad and it has an improved simple layout. But I think other browsers are just as fast, Opera does not have the obvious edge any more.
