What is up with mandriva.com?
I really have a hard time accessing the Mandriva site. Can anyone else confirm?

Re: Mandriva is finished
I'm coming up with nothing but it sitting there on a blank page spinning its wheels (in Seamonkey).
In firefox it's coming up now, though. However, it's running slower than me on pot.
Y'know, I don't get this. You run this forum perfectly fine off what, ONE server, purely free. You get no income AFAIK from this site. It's never gone down. It's had a couple errors, but never gone down, and never slowed down. They have how many people working for them, and they can't make that thing run any faster than a turtle for how long now?

Strange. It should not be that hard.

Re: Mandriva is finished
That's what I'm saying. It shouldn't be that hard for them to run that damn forum with decent speed, and a decent interface. You do it single-handedly. So, what's their problem? They're still not loading in Seamonkey for me, btw.
Edit: Finally got a return in Seamonkey when trying to access the mandriva forum:

That crap never, and I mean never, happens here.
mandriva.com is down too btw.

It looks like they have been hacked or something. Still a turtle on Pot here.
Edit: got it in Opera now!

Who knows. Whatever it is, they could've been on top of it before it happened.

Re: What is up with mandriva.com?
Yep, with no explanation that I can find about what happened. Rude, IMHO.
I had everyone on the planet on I.M. asking me last night what was up with it. I told 'em point-blank, "look, I'm not Mandriva's anything any more, until/if something like this happens, and even then I get it second-hand, and from what I'm seeing myself, which is no more than what you are." They need to explain themselves, even if they were hacked. Whatever it is. I have never seen anyone not explain a long down time like that.

Yeah, it's down all right. :\ What gets me, is https://qa.mandriva.com/ doesn't normally seem to go down with the rest when it does go down, but even it's down right now.
