Well yes; that tab is one of the two tabs that do not work yet! (I was talking "right" after all then). You can change it under Decoration!
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

But it's not the same thing.
This is why I'm so pissed at it right now. I can't change the theme overall. They've taken away my power of choice.
I could change that in custom.conf if I could just remember the code under the theme section to.

I can change the theme and I can change the icons. Even if it is not the same procedure you can do a lot with it. So the power of choice is there. But you may need a bit more "power of work".
It is not as easy as just picking a theme I'll give you that.

Yeah, see that's the thing about current Gnome/GDM as compared to the old Gnome/GDM.
I need to figure what I put in that "Greeter" and "Theme" section of custom.conf - once I do that, I'll have it made.

TabError: inconsistent use of tabs and spaces in indentationCare to explain this one anyone? Did they forget to build against python2 like they did with postgresql?

Re: gdm2setup in Arch isn't working
viking60 wrote::B Yes I got it (Edited the description above) Now everything works. And it is Highly configurable. There are a zillion possibilities in /etc/slim.conf!
I haz a problem with this. I like to be able to see what I'm changing to before I go write it down in some config file, when it comes to display options (as in how things will look and feel).
One of the very few times I would ever ask. Is there a GUI to configure it with? I've installed a bazillion slim themes - I'd like to know what the one I'm choosing for the config file looks like, so I can pick & choose.
b1o wrote:The config file to Viking60 should now work with autologin with multiple desktop environments
Don't do auto login, but I do timed login. Is there an option for that? Edit: Nope, there sure isn't! Dang! Any way I can write that option in?
Also, what if I want some weird-arse super effed-up theme like my famous Happy Feet avatar, or Harry Potter?
Or maybe Stewie?
Thanks.
