Pulseaudio in Fedora question

Postby dedanna1029 » 15 Oct 2010, 20:19

If you look in this screenshot:

You'll see that on my last Fedora installation, they got it wrong. The default sink is:

Code: Select all

alsa_output.pci-0000_02_02.0.iec958-stereo

Which is right... however, for default source, it has it as:

Code: Select all

alsa_input.pci-0000_02_02.0.analog-mono

... which is wrong.

How can I permanently change the Default source to be:

Code: Select all

alsa_output.pci-0000_02_02.0.iec958-stereo

:?:

I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. It's been too long. When I change it on login as regular user to the right thing, then log out or reboot, I have to change it again when I log back in again. It's just an annoying little niggle.

Thanks.

Anyone? Thanks.

Moving to Help, as that section seems to be the hot one these days.
