Audacity: The Free Dimensional Sound Editor, Part One

Postby dedanna1029 » 02 Mar 2011, 07:41

Good read on this amazing piece of software. I dumped Sound Forge from Windows as soon as I found out about Audacity, years ago. It runs pretty close to Sound Forge anyway.
The audacity of developers who create, maintain and support an advanced sound editor free of charge is unfathomable but appreciated.

Yes, highly appreciated.

I made a judgement call on posting it here btw, rather than in the Audio/Video section, as it is software, even though it's Audio software.

It's in the repos for most distros (if not all by now). Arch has it, Fedora has it, MDV had it last I was on it, etc.
