Many have been impatiently waiting for this release.
CentOS is a copy of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Version 6 has taken a long time to complete (Redhat released it on the 10th of November 2010) , and this has been criticized by contributors, users and people depending on the distro.
CebtOS comes with kernel 2.6.32 and does now have support for "cgroups". This helps in grouping resources including I/O. Together with KVM this makes it easier to regulate what virtual machines and Users actually use.
