Try again - cannot confirm or copy that behavior!
R-head do you still have that problem?

Right now the board is snappy as ever -here. Dare I hope that it lasts  I have changed some load settings (but I doubt that is the reason).
Please give feedback regarding the speed.....
Happy people can report too :dancer

Just had it happen again, and this time caught it on video, but I won't be able to get it to you until tonight. Am late this morning.

Edit: And then it logged me out again. All I did was hit reload to check for new posts.

Just post it here I hate e-mails.
And since you have stopped complaining about the speed I take it - that it is excellent on your end - right?
(I need to take it one problem at the time - and I am in speed mode now :-D Once confirmed that your original complaint is fixed and that you are super happy about it - I will fix the logout thing too +1 Your browser is under suspicion  )

Well, considering it just logged me out before I could even get to post, much less when I do post, I never get chance to test the speed!

Okay, this is the THIRD TIME I'm trying to get this thing posted, with the forum logging me out every time I try!

Start at 4:10.

Also, it's blurry in full screen, but you can make out what's going on. That's due to having had to encode it for effing youtube.

Yup I get it. I can see from the video that the forum speed is excellent so this problem is solved.
As a digression I will continue the logout discussion here (but in the future I would encourage one thread per problem). But I guess the "wazzup" title covers this too.

Clearly you are logged out very fast there. So I agree that is not the normal forum behavior. Does this happen in other browsers than Iron?
One of the known bugs in Iron is its disability to remember preferences: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=784

Unknown - I won't load one of these other slow-arse browsers to find out. Just uploading that vid, I had to wait over 5 mins for FF just to load youtube, much less to upload the vid.

This thing has logged me out now 5x, just over the last half hour. It's getting old. I don't think Iron's that bad, since I don't get this at other sites.

Did you try the fix in the link above? And humor me and use the slow arse browser to check if this is a board problem or a browser problem
Anyone else experiencing this - do tell - and I'll get on to dissecting the settings?
I use Iron so I can understand your passion for it. But I do not get this behavior. Have you set it to be super safe so sessions and the cookies of this board are stopped to?

THIRD ATTEMPT TO POST THIS WITHOUT GETTING LOGGED OUT.

I had done that fix months ago, and haven't had any profile errors since. See edits above.

I had had this issue for several days, but never as badly as it's done today.

Did you not brag about an upgrade? Could the settings have gone in the process? Anyway I can see that you are in the stubborn mood so I will now check out your user in my Iron and post just to see if it is user settings. Hang on......
Edit can't do that but I'll use a test acount.....
