What are you going Debian? I thought your box was allergic to it
I have two cooker installations and none of them have that function in the Norwegian menu. Oh well - the workaround is easy. I'll let the Mandriva gurus work out the bug.
The Kernel update of today made one of my eight cpu's work at 100% all the time. This actually made my system unstable and did not load conky. It is OK in KDE. So if Mandriva fubars Gnome then I'll change.

Re: log out not working in 64bit (viking60)
Well, Mandriva's fubarred Gnome several times. Have filed mega-bugs on it, but they seemed to get them fixed in good time (however, that was then, this is now. Not sure how they'd do with it now).
Sorry, wasn't thinking on Linux Mint. I keep forgetting it's debian. The point of what I was saying, is that I will find something else to run (unknown for right now). I really really really want Arch back, but that usb drive bug was something I almost couldn't handle. Must have usb. Also must have mp3 player compatibility. So, I already know one drive is going to be Fedora. I'm thinking it kept fubarring on me because of the drive going out; I suspected it was going out the first time the F11 upgrade messed up on me; just wasn't absolutely sure at the time. Now I am sure. Sigh. So, there's one coming, Arch next. We'll see once I install Arch how that usb drive deal is doing once I've installed and updated it. I'd like to keep it just because I love it, but alas, our loves don't always mean compatibility with what we want to do.
Sounds like marriage, doesn't it.
Each time I got married (twice now, twice burned), it took about a month for me to want out. Seriously. It happens here every time.

Interesting it was filed on pkill. Did someone run the code I posted earlier in this thread, and get a filename.txt from it?

No I got the file but it was empty (noting was written to it) - I just put pkill up there because it looked good ( and because you said so:)

I guess it logged out too fast then to be able to print to the file. :\
