SXSW Sampler to be had, free
I always try to donate to artists on Paste/NoiseTrade, even if I don't like the music itself, to help the artists out. It is a long, uphill climb for unsigned artists, and in a lot of cases, they do better than the Britney Spears-type crapola we hear in top 40 so much, and I've become quite involved with unsigned/indie artists as of the last couple years or so, helping to promote them. Joe Bone and The Coffins is just one example.
