Ubuntu One for Windows

Postby viking60 » 03 Oct 2011, 16:14

ImageUbuntu One is Windows ready.

Just download it and install it in Windows!
Ubuntu has a multi platform strategy and as such it makes sense that there is a Windows version.
Windows XP, Vista and Win7 are supported.
This might be a new way of recruiting Windows users. A kind of reversed Embrace Extend and Extinguish strategy?
They have to start somewhere.
Once they are familiar with Linux they will realize that it is way better to "Install" WIndows in Linux! +1
Still this almost feels like a violation of gravity.
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.
