We are now using PphBB 3.0.11

Postby viking60 » 20 Nov 2012, 16:34

This board is now the very latest and fanciest version of phpBB. And there have been quite a lot of fixes and changes.

Here is the changelog
The subsilver2 theme is also maintained and functional even if some of the fancy stuff is not present.
It looks like this:

Hm... Lemme see flash.... :-D

Doesn't work

Yeah you are right it does not work.... (NOT)
Not even for technical information like Underflor Heating systems:

Hm what can we do about that :o

The syntax of the flash tag is not enough you need to enter the size and link like this:

Code: Select all

[flash=100,100]http://rolf.com/superduperflash.swf[/flash]

That should get you going....

It works fine here even in your quote :?: (If you are referring to my comment that is just an example of extremely funny irony/sarcasm to show my fantastic sense of humor +1)
Can you see this one?

And if you can in fact not see some of them then I am puzzled  But I think I can remember why I have not used much flash here now. This thread is beginning to look like the Red Light District in St. Pauli

Yup it does work. :greetings I am better with flash than jokes - I guess. But my mother likes me....
Here is one I made for a Folk Rock star/friend of mine - he rejected it... must have been something wrong with the genre.. :-D

Just for the record - that is not him singing or playing - that might have something to do with it

You are right it stopped working here too after a while. I think it might be an error in the flash design - not this board function.
And then I refreshed this page and it worked again - so it is not the phpBB BBC code that is the problem.
Remember it can take some time to load, depending on your HW.
And I am going to put these flashes in a spoiler now - especially those with sound...

Maybe someone else can confirm? It could be a matter of user permissions...

This works. Are you talking about personal flash files, that we create, or ?

Edit: Yep. You are. Never mind...
