I caught wind of this, somehow, during google searching about drive information. It seems very capable for that, showing serial number and firmware version, a couple of things that interest me from time to time, and appears to have a lot of advanced capability, most of which I haven't dipped into. :A

You might notice the Benchmark buttons, another topic that's been on my mind, what with my new (old tech, sata II) ssd. From what I have read, the write benchmark will only work on an empty disk. The read mark shows very good performance for my ssd, especially seek time, but I'm a bit unconvinced as the hdparm -tT benchmark is lower. :A

Thanks! I love stuff like that I will have a look as soon as I am finished with my ongoing battle with systemd and Gnome3.6 :berserkf

My recent acquisition, Agility 3 SATA III 60 G ssd, shows better throughput in palimpsest, now that I've got the ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 w/SATA III online and operational :A
