FVD Speed Dial

FVD Speed Dial
Per viking's suggestion, I've installed FVD Speed Dial to Firefox. There is just one single (somewhat) small little niggle with it. I'm wondering if there's a way to make this "thing" where the arrow points to in the following screen shot not come up by default, but be closed, or go away completely? There are context menus for FVD Speed Dial, so it's unnecessary, and is not awfully aesthetically pleasing. There is a way to make it go away temporarily using the arrow at the bottom of it, but I'd like for it to load with it rolled up and out of the way, and then when/if I need it, I can just pull it down, rather than vice-versa. Is there a setting I've missed for this? Thanks.

I have not found a way but you could try another speed dial....
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Well, guess what? I'm in another DE, and it's rolled up by default in it...
