Yes, the horns made them quite distinctive as a rock band, almost orchestral. 25 or 6 to 4? Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? Good stuff.

Boz Scaggs also has that distinction of lots of horns, pianos, big group sound in his more blues genre music. He's quite the accomplished arranger.

I have been listening XM radio.

I bought a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT (is not new but is the last one produced as Pontiac, F.U. and Dam U Obama admin!) great car, fun to drive and comfy as heck. Well, my wife found out the XM radio works, so apparently, the previous owner purchase the subscription and still active. For how long? What I know, but I will ride it until does not works any more

Anyway, plays MP3s and with a 6 CD exchanger that is quiet a bit of music to go around.

I was just listening to Paula Abdul :)

Yes, he does have it. He's one of the few who actually could make the horns sound good.

I was 12 years old when this came out in '72 (the studio version, on Machine Head). What a memory. Another album that I've ripped in off vinyl. Had to pull it up in Amarok and play it. :)
