XFCE4 with Adwaita

Postby dedanna1029 » 09 Sep 2015, 10:38

I'm not digging this. Any way to dump Adwaita and get rid of it from XFCE4?

Thanks.

I use Menda in My manjaro. You can get rid of Adwaita but you need to install those other themes of course. My icon theme is faenza green.

So I have installed menda-themes and xcursor-menda
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Oh, sorry, in my travels on this I remembered and did just that - installed oxygen-gtk theme, and unbeknownst to me, I hadn't installed gnome-tweak-tools, so did, I changed the GTK theme, and XFCE4 works much better now. I at least have my minimize, maximize, and restore buttons on the windows and the programs' menus back. It was driving me insane, on Adwaita, isn't any more, so we can mark this as solved.

Can't do that here - since it is not the help section :-D
I'll move it there and mark it..
