There is something strange with the mails on the server where this site is hosted.
b1o's mail account was spoofed to an unheard of account called "jenniferhoward at this site dott com"
This account has never been created by me and the server is clean regarding scripts. So b1o needs to virus control his systems. And I will controll mine but I bet I will only find Windows viruses in the mails - if any.

In any case we cannot have this criminal behaviour where others send mails in the name of this site - so I will stick to this like glue.

Yes and I found out that the Spoofing IP is in Mexico. So something is not kosher here.

And posted there. I think I'll make a new backup now since the backup server has been more stable than the main server lately. The backup server is Arch ! and the main server is Centos

I have backed up this forum to the backup site so it is an exact replica as of right now (can be confusing so check what url you are on - I have posted long posts there before I realized that it was not bjoernvold.com ).

And Arch has always been faster than Centos The main motivation for Centos is the stability so this is supposed to be an exeption.

Yeah, first thing when you mentioned the backup server is Arch, I thought, "no wonder it's so much faster."

I had forgotten the link to it but found it in a search. The bookmark for it is buried under about 4,000 other ones.

All's well that ends well though, I got there.

Glad we're back up. As a heads up, you'll all be pleased to know that I won't be here much for a fair while because our internet is down at the house, plus I got an online full-time job (yes, a conundrum but it's just a matter of getting to wifi somewhere early in the morning).

Yup - We sure don't love them.
It looks like someone has cracked b10's mail password. The Mexican IP indicates that this has nothing to do with malware or viruses on any of our computers.

Word of caution:
They are a Mexican server. If you have any idea of the climate in Mexico, you will know that they will say that regardless. Be very very cautious.
This is nowhere near inclusive. Mexico is very mafia infiltrated; they could be ones that own that server. They can give you every assurance in the world, do not trust them. They are probably the ones who have done this deliberately, and want to throw you off.

Block them at every turn. I mean every turn.

It always helps to research who you're playing with.
