I have been wondering about GPS too. Is a great technology but also is a horrible one.

Very useful for navigation and other things but also places a Tag on you.
I disabled the OnStar on my G8, is completely disconnected.
Once in a while I get a Notice from OnStar that my car is not enable or has a malfunction as far the OnStar box concern.

My Cell GPS is turned off until I need it, which is very seldom.

Is a huge dependency on GPS Nav systems that is pretty spooky.
Apparently there is a huge need for it and people seems to not function any more.
When I travel, a simple road map is sufficient so I do not own a GPS Nav System and I do not really care for it any more.

Now, you add MS Sync on cars like Ford is doing and you got yourself a tracking device from hell.
From the PC to your Cell to the Car... is that F-ed Up or what?

It sure is :!:
Cars can drive by themselves now, only guided by GPS. You are tracked every minute of the day via cellphone and GPS.

The only time you are not tracked is when you go for a swim. Well by humans that is - the sharks will take over from there :o

On the GM vehicles the OnStar is a paid service.
Is not cataloged as an Emergency Service, therefore 911 Calls can not be made.
The box provides a Geo Location in case of an accident they can send help.
Also, if you nee to Un-Lock in case you left the keys inside or need to locate the vehicle if is stolen.

You will think is disable if you do not pay for it, wrong!
The vehicle is tracked and when is out they are wondering why a vehicle with OnStar is not in the Radar.
So they send a concern e-mail to see if you are ok... yeah right.

That is great! Love it! (But whatever happened to the spoiler rule that you used to love so much?)

Okay, I'll put it in one -- although I didn't think a youtube vid here went over the limit. Sorry.

No I just wondered why you have done it all along and suddenly stopped. No biggie. I can understand it because that is such a great contribution. So I am fine with it either way.
In general youtube videos have a lot of clutter in them when they are finished playing, so a spoiler is fitting.

Well, I didn't with Quinn Michael's stuff - when I find something that's extra special, I don't use the spoilers. When it's just like random music, whatever, then yeah, I put it in spoilers. *shrug*

It's the whole film, btw:

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I think it's a timely find. I think our children and grandchildren here in the states are going to be reading this and realize that it's talking about the U.S.

I'm serious.
