@dedanna I have forgotten where I set that background, behind the rotating cube. Can you help me out here?
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Found it! I was one of the options under the rotating cube.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't here. It's been a while here, too, for compiz.
CCSM-->Desktop-->Desktop Cube-->"Appearance" tab. Since I didn't have nvidia, I haven't had it going here in Fedora. Should set it up also, but can't be arsed right now.
