Not "bragged" about the Iron update, but informed about it. I thought they had fixed the upload issue with it, but the next time after that, that I tried to upload with it, it crashed, so stopped using it to upload with.
I guess some things it will, others not, so I don't run any chances with it.

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
But you are using that new version? Are you sure you kept the fix? Please understand if you want me to fix it I need information.
I use Iron and I do not have this problem. So with my current knowledge there is no problem with a "fixed" Iron.
Also I must asume that every other browser does work well in regard to the session length of 3600 seconds. There is no information to the opposite.

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
I'll do it again... sigh. I haven't had any errors or anything, but I'll do it again. Went ahead and booted FF too - we'll see what happens with it. I'm wondering, however, why I'm not getting this at other sites.

I am wondering why only you get this here.

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
Well, FF has logged me out once. I've reapplied the patch to Iron. Going to check it out.

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
OK I have started checking the settings
You are not by any chance using a proxy are you?
I think that is fine but the price is that your IP has to be re-evaluated every time to validate your session. That would explain a frequent logout behavior, the system does not remember you if you do not want to be remembered.
Tor would be such a proxy

Edit:
And I guess we have a winner:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1208&p=7850&hilit=tor#p7850
By the looks of it you yourself has decided to reject the cookies and the sessions.
That is a good thing and I support it. But calling it a problem with this board isn't that a bit like: "Who has peed in my pants"

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
Oh, yay.
What's funny, is I thought about asking about that. The thing is, it didn't get really really really bad until today... ?

Re: Wazzup?-speed problem
That might have been a cache thing or whatever. Several people have been active to get the speed up on this thing. And that part is excellent now - thank you.
And to be fair most of my errors are exactly like this one. I forget one setting and ask who has soiled my pants (always totally surprised).
Anyway the wazzup thread is a total success -solved on all accounts - closing it now (to avoid the general problem thread).
