Well (unlike you) I hope that day will never come, because the distro is the best entrance to Linux when you come from Windows. I fear you might be right tho...

I didn't say I necessarily hoped for it. I said I keep waiting for it to happen. And yeah, I think I'm right too. And, I don't think that they are necessarily the catalyst for Windows users to go Linux. I think any number of distros can do that.

Na You need a distro with a control panel. That leaves SUSE and Mandriva. And SUSE is more confusing IMHO. That leaves Mandriva.

I will love to see a device like the iPad for Open Source, but just as a Smart Terminal for a lets say, a MS/Linux Desktop Server. The Same way Citrix does.
All you have to do is, support one computer and let multiple users access it within your network.

Now, how cool is that!
