Slight hopefully quick Slim question?

Postby dedanna1029 » 27 May 2011, 15:40

It's not allowing me root login (logging in to root).

How would I edit it to allow me this? Can it be done with /etc/slim.conf?

If you want to do something stupid as that you need to create a .xinitrc in the root directory.
It is stupid stupid stupid :T
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

I know, but there's times when I need in there.

Used to have it on for gdm; and no worries I never go online or anything when in there. It's purely for "I gotta fix something that I can't otherwise" purposes, and to compare things from root to regular user.

Used to be I'd dare and push it, but not any more, just purely 'cause I burned out on the fun of it.

Thanks.
