Strength in numbers, the realities

Postby dedanna1029 » 01 Jun 2011, 21:49

In order to have strength in numbers, there are two elements at least which must be present:
1) That all agree to the philosophy and/or goals of the whole
2) That the whole is for the common good, and is armed well (facts, desire to stand up for the common cause, etc.).

Here in Amerika, there is none of that. Everyone disagrees on the most basic of premises, yet at the same time, state "strength in numbers" will out the truth. Hypocrisy, much?

Don't assume that where there is a quiet and large mass that there is strength! That stagnant mass can be stricken with dry rot. When you encounter that which is ugly and untrue, we eliminate these things in any way appropriate as soon as we can. We are good people, those who love the natural world and want to save things, improve them, for our children, we see these visions so clearly as day! We need to break or shift, these large grotesque stagnations, if we need to, to uncover what is true and just and beautiful. Shift them to goodness and wholesomeness, since they are blind to what they are doing to the world and only see what is in front of them. This is unfortunately destroying our earth and we can't ignore this.

Strength without numbers is real strength. A mob comes in numbers and the first thing that goes is common sense, responsibility and decency. Hooligans, Gangs, group pressure, fear of falling out. There is a very little chance that a group has 100 % the same sentiment and the same goal - so they always have to settle for 5 or 10 %, if they want to include everyone (in larger groups).
So the stronger they get the more they have to sacrifice.
Let us take the I hate Utopia group: It contains the guy that hates Utopia because he has to pay way to much taxes and also the guy who hates Utopia because there is no social security = more taxes.
Also there will always be that guy that tries to control the group to get as much as possible for himself. He will claim that he has a higher understanding of what the group really wants (Gnome devs?). If the group is real big they are often referred to as dictators.
