Mageia 1 is released
Hard work from the community and some extra motivation by "leftovers" from Mandriva has lead to this release. It is a Mandriva fork - and at this point in time also very much of a Mandriva clone. The community alternative is now an option for everyone who has doubts about Mandriva the company, or just wants an alternative. Even Mandriva welcomes it. So a new distro is born!
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.
