You can NOT discuss Linux in government without discussing government. It can't be done. You might just as well put this in the politics section - it's all the same thing.
Linux. Government. Get it?

I'd rather be a free person who fears terrorists, than be a "safe" person who fears the government.

Yes the government must be discussed - but replacing Obama is totally of the scale. That clearly has nothing to do with Linux in government. Unless of course, you would point to a successor that would implement even more or less Linux.
In other words keeping the focus on Linux and not Obama. The city of Munich is using Linux - do you want to replace the mare there too
Mexico City is using it - what politician do we want to replace there?
It does not matter because it is beside the point.
You have to remember that your local an less important politicians are quite exotic to us non-foreigners.
I would even think that replacing Jens Stoltenberg would be beside the point, even if he is responsible for the Police Windows systems getting hacked.

But Obama uses Linux, and used it for his campaign, too.

I bet he does not and I bet he does not even know what Linux is.
The Gov is so sold on MS that is not even funny.
There are some agencies that uses for obvious reason, NASA for example and the others because of security. Other than that, go to to any Gov building and they are using MS for everything.

@R_Head
Dude, don't spread FUD dude when people know what they're talking about. Obama specifically set up Linux to be used in his campaign, and at the white house for government. I know this to be true.

I still doubt it, perhaps someone advice and implement it for him.
And is not FUD, he can not Admin a Nation even to save his soul, so I totally doubt that he can Admin a Computer.

And ONCE AGAIN...
WTF MORE CONFIRMATION DO YOU WANT??? TO WATCH HIM USE IT FOR YOURSELF??? I BEEN THERE TOO!!!
DAMN!! It's one thing not to like someone, but to doubt CONFIRMATION from someone who doesn't like him themselves is a total 'nother thing - that's beyond all reason and rationality!!!
