Car Dent Repair

Postby R_Head » 14 Jul 2011, 16:46

I came across in Youtube with these amazing videos.

Seen is believing!

Tools need it.

1) Hair Dryer / Heat Gun

2) Can of compressed CO2 or a can of compressed air that people uses to blow dust of electronic parts.

Watch the video.

Yes, it did worked somehow.

My wife 07 VW Beetle has some dents on the door. I used to have a Motorcycle and fell on the car. No really major damage, if the car was 6 inches away it would missed it completely. Anyway, I plied on one of the dents and is on the frame where the metal is thick, it did pulled some out but is not 100% removed.

I think I did it wrong. The other is, how hot is hot? I was afraid to burn the paint and at my house has been in the 104F, so I am wondering with a colder car might work better. So I have more to experiment.

More than you think. I've been riding up to 15 miles a day since beginning of 2011, possibly before. It's my main mode of transportation.
